“I believe I have good taste, I am not boasting when I say that, it is simply so. That I often look good, whether in casual or formal attire, is something attested to by women and men alike. Younger men often comment that it is their desire to emulate my style, which I would describe as timeless. Details are important to me, I am a purist and pay attention to the lines and fit of clothes. A man cannot look at odds with what he is wearing he must ‘own’ his clothes, they must move with him fluidly like water over a riverbed.

What Sammy Aki posses is the ability to, as it were, turn water into wine. Her taste is classic yet visionary. This lady is a forecaster of sorts, she is able to look at your style and with an uncanny degree of certainty show you what it looks like at its most nuanced, developed and considered – like me, you will likely fail to realise just how good she is until you are wearing your suit.

Sammy is by far the most competent and compelling suit consultant that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Getting a suit has never been less stressful or more fun. Sammy is brilliant, she is consummately professional yet personable, very on the ball, extremely sharp and exceptionally quick; I am always busy and time is very precious to me so it was invaluable to consult someone who understands this and has an ethos of excellence in all that she does. Her process is straight forward and logical and her attention to detail is marvellous.Sammy is so good that she is the only person I considered letting advise me when it came my wedding suit (there is no sense in accepting second best on any day, let alone a day that only comes around once).

I was told by the minister who wed my wife and that I (a stocky 5’7” man) looked like the black version of James Bond; women who were guests and a little inebriated offered comments beyond the bounds of propriety! In fact, I received more compliments than a groom ever ought to on a bride’s big day. My wife is definitely in contention for the title of being the most particular person in the world, she has an eye for quality and detail that surpasses many. On our wedding day she looked stunning – she never would have forgiven me if my appearance fell short. Even she was taken aback by my suit, she commented on how handsome I looked and said that “I did her justice”.
